Kate and Meghan have been doing something that Princess Diana would be very proud of they’ve been paying tribute to the late princess through their clothes. They both wore outfits this week that were inspired by her style, and Kate’s choice was even more special because it was a dress she had worn at the Queen’s birthday celebrations in 2016.
Many people feel that Kate is royal fashion’s current leader, and she certainly did not disappoint the public when she stepped out in a pale blue Jenny Packham dress. The mother-of-two looked incredible in the vintage piece, which was strikingly similar to one worn by Diana during her visit to Nepal in 1993.

Interestingly, Kate wore the dress again on her visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina with William in 2015, which goes to show that she has had it for some time now. Since Diana wore it first, do you think this was a tribute? Let us know what you think!
The Duchess of Cambridge is not the only royal to be paying tribute to Diana this week. Meghan Markle caused a stir when she stepped out in a £1,050 white dress which she had previously worn last year.
The sleeveless outfit was a little more daring than what we normally see on the Duchess, but it certainly paid homage to Diana, who wore a very similar dress during a visit to Nepal with Charles in 1993.

Friends of Harry and Meghan were quick to point out that this was no coincidence, with one telling The Express It’s like she knew what she was doing.

The two women donned the same dress, and recently both of them were in Sarajevo Bosnia and Herzegovina for a mutual friend’s wedding. Was this all part of a bigger plan.

Kate wore a pale blue Jenny Packham dress, which she first wore at the Queen’s birthday celebrations in 2016. Diana first wore a similar dress to Nepal in 1993. Since Meghan Markle also has been recently spotted wearing a very similar white dress to Diana, could this be a tribute as well? Let us know what you think in the comments!
